Person-to-Person, in partnership with USPS, is working to reduce food insecurity in Norwalk. Residents are being asked to leave a bag of groceries at their mailbox on Saturday, May 14, or drop them off at their local post offices. Volunteers from Pepperidge Farm will then sort and inventory the donations and transport them back to the Person-to-Person’s Norwalk site. An estimated 9 percent of people are living in poverty in Norwalk and rely on local food banks.
