“I was fortunate enough to receive some scholarships that have allowed me to started my education at Sacred Heart University and majored in Biology on a Premed Track. Unfortunately, towards the end of my academic career, I had to pause my studies at Sacred Heart due to financial reasons and thus prompting me to enter the workforce.

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be here today, and to share a bit about my journey and aspirations, particularly as it pertains to my passion for healthcare and my connection with Nuvance Norwalk Hospital.

I first learned about the Norwalk Job training Program through a family member, and it immediately sparked my interest.

One of the most impactful experiences I’ve had so far in my career journey has been the PCT training at Nuvance Hospital. This hands-on training allowed me to gain exposure to the patient care field in a meaningful way. I had the chance to work alongside skilled professionals who not only mentored me but showed me what it truly means to care for patients, providing both medical and emotional support during some of their most vulnerable moments. That experience was eye-opening and solidified my dedication to pursuing a career in healthcare.”
