Smart Retirement Income Strategies
Thursday, January 18
6:30 – 8:15 pm
Main Library Auditorium
While retirement can be a very rewarding time in a person’s life, planning for retirement and preparing to have the income required to meet one’s needs can be a challenging process. As a nation, we are nervous about retirement. More than a quarter of Americans – 28% according to recent surveys – say that the specter of high medical expenses in old age worries them the most, with 23% identifying their biggest retirement concern as running out of savings.
“Smart Retirement Income Strategies” will help you to learn:
* How to calculate your future needs
* To identify your guaranteed sources of income
* How to maximize your Social Security to improve cash flow
* If you have a pension, what are your options
* To identify and adjust acceptable rate of drawdown on retirement savings
Your questions will be addressed by financial service speaker Michael Alimo (Investment Advisor Representative; ChFEBC). Alimo, a 30-year industry veteran, has served, for the past 17 years, as a financial services advisor with his USA Financial & Tax Services LLC, to a clientele in Connecticut and New England. Committed to giving back to the community via educational workshops, he has hosted financial planning workshops for groups at libraries, churches and social organizations.
This workshop is free and open to the public.
