After Hours Screening of Documentary
6:00 – 7:30 pm
Main Library Auditorium
In this 2011 release, filmmaker Roko Belic, director of the Academy Award nominated “Genghis Blues,” travels to more than a dozen countries, searching for the meaning of happiness. It brings full circle a wealth of scientific, empirical, and national research on happiness and delivers it in a mesmerizing documentary-type format. Don’t miss this compelling look at happiness, which doesn’t tell you what to do, rather like a good teacher, it shows you what’s possible, even in situations that seem impossible.
A light supper will be provided courtesy of the library, followed by the screening and a discussion of the film. This program is free and open to the public on a walk-in basis.
