College Panel for Parents & Students 
Find Out How to Plan, Apply & Pay for College

 
Thursday, October 20
6:00 – 8:00 pm
Main Library Auditorium – Norwalk Public Library
Our panel of education professionals will provide tips and information to help you successfully navigate the complex process from planning, to applying, to paying for college.
 
Panel:
Common Application:
Dan Sullivan, Chairman Norwalk High School Guidance Department, will explain the process and requirements for completing the Common Application. He will also speak about how to make your college visit more effective.
College Planning:
Dawn Leeds, Chairman Brien McMahon High School Guidance Department, will speak about College Planning with Naviance, the student’s diagnostic tool for college and career planning.
Financial Aid:
John Pearson from Barnum Financial Group, will speak about all aspects of Financial Aid, need-based, merit-based and FAFSA. (FAFSA qualifies you for all forms of Federal [many State and college specific]aid, Federal student grants, work-study funds, loans, and many State and private scholarships.)
This program is free and open to the public.
